I love skateboarding. Pero di pa ko marunong. I'm still a noobie, and I and my board rarely goes out 'coz my school stuffs won't allow it. Pero I really find it so much fun. Who wouldn't love skateboarding?
Today is the 1st Manila Go Skateboarding Day 2011. It was originally June 21, 2011 but the weather's shitty so it was moved today. It was in fact a good thing because it's moved to a weekend so skateboarding enthusiasts won't have to cut classes. It was held in front of the Malate fountain in the Rajah Soliman Park in Liwasang Bonifacio.
Being the ever "chismosa", I went to the event. I was supposed to go with my bestfriend Neng but unfortunately she had stuffs to do so I was alone there haha! Pero ok lang coz I get to see skateboarding people. I was just there staring at skateboarders.

It's so great to know that such event was held. Some people think that skateboarding is just plain nonsense, some even think it's an annoying activity. I do believe that this sport has a lot to offer. This is a passion activity, and passion could change lives. If you can't understand these people, probably you don't live a passionate life. And I've spoken to some people who love this sport and they're too awesome. Mas masarap sila kausap compare sa mga normal na nakakasalamuha ko. :)

A glimpse of the The 1st Manila Go Skateboarding Day 2011
One upon a time, I and neng decided to trek Mt. Pinatubo. Wala lang trip lang. So we searched for trek packages on the net and we found the perfect tour for us. Our trip schedule is on May 21 and we have to meet with our organizers at 3am at McDonald's nearest to the EDSA Quezon ave MRT station. Since our parents won't allow us to travel, just like what i've mentioned in my about me page, we told them that it was our friend Raia's debut, and we will be sleeping over at her house. >:D. We left home about 7pm and we arrived at Mcdonald's at 8pm. And yes, we stayed there from 8pm to 3am. HAHA! :) You might wonder what we did during those 7 hours of waiting. Eto yun:

We took videos. Mukha kaming bangag. At take note, wala pa kaming tulog.

We chatted with ate,who happens to be a mother of a model. She's been waiting there - since 8pm just like us- for her daughter who works in ABS-CBN.
We slept. Alternate kami. :)))
At exactly 2:30, our organizer Mr. Tee arrived and after paying our balances and after arranging everything, we immediately boarded the van that will take us to the base camp of Mt. Pinatubo in Zambales and slept. The van left at 3am sharp, heading to Zambales.
We arrived at the base camp at around 5:30.
Welcome to Mt. Pinatubo. We waited for an hour at Spa Town.
At around 6:30, the 4x4 jeep arrived. Yehey!
We felt lucky 'cos our 4x4 jeep is the only one that's open. God is with us haha! And hindi maaraw! Nor maulan. :)
We stopped for a while and have photos taken on the trail going to Mt. Pinatubo. The stunning view is literally taking our breathes away.

Also, I want to share na habang pabalik kami, we saw 2 guys on motorcycles, at nakikipagbakbakan sa mga bato dun. Sobrang cool! Sa sobrang bilib ko, I forgot to take pictures of them. They're motocrossing in Mount Pinatubo. O_O

Besides the Fail CR, dislocated ankles (joking), and super duper mega exhausted bodies, everything is to be loved in this trip (well that is if you're a nature's beauty enthusiast).

There are a lot of beautiful things in life that you didn't know could exist, because it's so good you can't believe it's true. :)
I was lucky enough to have discovered one of those things - the Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur. This place is one of the tourist's attractions in Bicol because of the Islands' unexploited features and virginity-perfect for a very unforgettable island hopping adventure.
At the first part of the trip (the land transportation), it gave us the hassle because of the 12-hour drive from Manila to Naga port. Then from the port, we rode a boat that brought us to the hotel. The hotel wasn't as classy as I expected. It was located beside a flowing river. It's just an ordinary room, but with air conditioning. At the least, we don't need to worry for tiktiks slashing our bellies at night and it managed to gave us enough comfort we need.

Before reaching the islands, we need to ride a jeepney that will bring us to the port. From the port, we have to take a boat to get to the islands. It's not the usual hotel-beside-beach thingy but a hotel-jeepney-boat-island thingy.
After the 30 minute boat ride from the port, we reached one of the islands of Caramoan Paradise.

Taking pictures of surrounding beauties from the boat. I literally cried while taking these photographs. I love seeing such works of art of God in real life. I never wanna go home after being there. Being able to see such exquisite sceneries makes me feel weak. REAL BREATHTAKER.

One amazing fact about the islands is that the sands are actually Puka shells that were crushed by the waves for a long time resulting it to be powdery, making the surface cool even under the fiery sun. AWESOME!

Caramoan indeed is a paradise. Unfortunately we weren't able to visit everything, and we weren't able to do spelunking because my little cousin was too scared of the big waves. Because of this, I promise to come back to this island to do stuffs I haven't done.
